The Saint Barnabas Medical Center School of Radiation
Therapy has as its purposes to enroll qualified
applicants who will benefit from this course of
study and complete the program. The program intends
to prepare students to have the knowledge and skills
as entry level skilled radiation therapists by
providing clinical and didactic education. The
program will strive to instill the values of caring
for all patients with compassion and respect for
their dignity as a person with physical, spiritual
and emotional needs. The program will provide you
with the knowledge to successfully pass the certification
requirements. It is also a goal of the program
to help the student develop effective communication,
critical thinking and problem solving skills. The
program will encourage the student to develop the
appropriate attitudes, behaviors, and ethics and
instill a desire to grow professionally in the
discipline of Radiation Therapy.
