The radiation oncology physicians at Saint Barnabas Medical Center are all Board Certified and dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a compassionate setting.
Dr. Alison Grann, joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in February 2000. She came to Saint Barnabas from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where she worked in the Department of Radiation Oncology for five years.
Dr. Grann completed her undergraduate degree at George Washington University
in Washington, D.C., followed by her medical degree at the George Washington
University School of Medicine. She completed residencies in internal
medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Mass., and in radiation oncology
at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, N.Y. Having completed
a dozen research projects, publications, conference proceedings, abstracts,
and book chapters, Dr. Grann is committed to research in the field of
radiation oncology. During her postgraduate studies, she participated
in a research project, "Investigation of Anti-Sence Therapy for Chronic
Myelogenous Leukemia," in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at
Hadassah Hospital-Hebrew University Medical School, Jerusalem, Israel.
Dr. Grann is board-certified in internal medicine and radiation oncology. She has received numerous awards and honors, among them, George Washington University School of Medicine’s Kane King Dodek Award.
