The radiation oncology physicians at Saint Barnabas Medical Center are all Board Certified and dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a compassionate setting.

Dr. Andrew ZablowDr. Andrew Zablow, Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, joined Saint Barnabas in 1986. This highly respected medical professional has expertise in interstitial brachytherapy for prostate cancer. He is President of the Oncology Society of New Jersey and brings close to 20 years of experience in medicine to the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Zablow completed his undergraduate degree at New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, and his medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed postdoctoral training at United Hospital, Newark, followed by an internship and residency in radiation oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Zablow is board-certified in radiation oncology.

A presenter of more than 30 studies and research topics at national and international medical conferences, Dr. Zablow is keenly interested in several areas of research, including interstitial brachytherapy for prostate cancer, hemibody irradiation, adjuvant radiotherapy for colorectal cancer, combined chemotherapy and radiotherapy for head and neck cancer, 3-D treatment planning for head and neck cancer, and hyperthermia. He is actively involved in the Professional Education Committee of the Essex County Unit of the New Jersey Division of the American Cancer Society as well as Program Chairman of the Head and Neck Oncology Section of The Academy of Medicine of New Jersey.
