The radiation oncology physicians at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center are dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a compassionate setting.

Dr. Eastman received his degree in Medicine from
the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1973. He
completed two years in surgical residency training
at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New
York. He was a Neurosurgical fellow and resident
at Albert Einstein in the Bronx, New York from
1974 to 1977. After completing a residency
in Radiation Oncology at Saint Barnabas Medical
Center in Livingston, NJ, he became an attending
in that department. He served there from 1980 to
2004. During
that tenure, he was also a Clinical Instructor
at St. Barnabas Medical Center Educational Program
in Radiation Therapy Technology and also trained
residents in Radiation Oncology.
Prior to joining the staff at Newark Beth Israel
Medical Center in 2007, Dr. Eastman was also employed
by The Center for Cancer and Hemologic Disease
in Marlton, New Jersey as Radiation Oncologist
and was on the staff of Virtue-West Jersey Health
Care System which was associated with Fox Chase
Cancer Center in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Eastman is experienced in IMRT, Conformal
as well as non-coplanar treatment planning, Intravascular
brachytherapy, Gynecological LDR and HDR Brachytherapy,
Pediatric Oncology, Endocavitary HDR Brachytherapy,
Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Tomotherapy and Rapid
Arc Radiotherapy.
Dr. Eastman received his Board Certification in
Therapeutic Radiology (Radiation Oncology) in June
1980. He is a member of the American Society
for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. He
has been a member of the American College of Radiation
Oncology, American College of Radiology as well
as other professional state and county professional
societies.
Dr. Eastman is licensed in New Jersey and New
York.
